Four (4) Panel bulk bags (FIBC) have seams along four separate pieces of fabric that are sewn together to construct the body of the bag as well as having the top and bottom panels sewn in. Four panel bags tend to hold their shape better than other types of bags and are better suited for stacking

Skirt top bulk bags (FIBC) have a lightweight top panel/fill opening that is the same width and depth as the bulk bag.

Skirt top bags can accommodate a wide variety of filling machines and processes. The Skirt top can be closed after the bag has been filled to protect the product for transportation and storage. A “Skirt Top” can be added to any style (circular, u-panel, or Four Panel) bulk bag.

Spout top bulk bags (FIBC) have a chute or fill spout sewn into the top panel of the bag for filling the bag with product. Spout top bulk bags are an industry standard with the most common fill spout dimensions being 14” diameter by 18” Length. However, the fill spouts can easily be manufactured to any necessary size. Spout top bags significantly reduce particle dust during bag filling.

Open top bulk bags (FIBC) do not have any top panel or closure to cover the bag contents. Open top bags are easy to fill and ideal for products that do not require any protection from outside elements.

Spout bottom bulk bags (FIBC) have a discharge spout on the bottom of the bag for emptying the bag contents. Spout bottom bulk bags are an industry standard with the most common discharge spout dimensions being 14” Diameter by 18” Length. However, the discharge spout can easily be manufactured to any necessary size. Because the contents can be emptied without damaging the bulk bag, spout bottom bags are often good candidates for refurbishing or re-use programs.

Plain bottom bulk bags (FIBC) do not have a discharge spout and are typically “dumped” if the bag has a Skirt Top of cut open to empty the bag. Plain bottom bags are typically used as single trip or “One Way” bags. A plain bottom can be made from any style (circular, u-panel, four panel) bag.

Full bottom discharge bulk bags (FIBC) have a discharge spout with the same footprint as the bag. Full bottom discharge bags are ideal for emptying products that clump together or mass inside the bag.

Bulk bags (FIBC) with corner loops have both pieces of the lift loop attached or sewn into the corner of the bag where two side panels meet. Typically corner loops are used on U-Panel or Four Panel bags.

Bulk bags (FIBC) with cross corner loops are formed by attaching one piece of the loop to one panel or area of the bag and attaching the other piece of the loop to an adjacent panel or area of the bag. Cross corner loops are typically used on circular style bags but can also be used on U-Panel or Four Panel bags.

Bulk bag (FIBC) stevedore straps are pieces of woven polypropylene that are sewn together to connect the lift loops of the bulk bag. Stevedore straps add flexibility with lifting and transporting bulk bags.
